- Converted weekly sales order release data from their largest customer into Sterling’s order entry system.
- Applied specified business rules to enforce current standing purchase orders.
- Validated release data against parts already shipped to ensure accuracy.
- These changes save the company from updating the sales order release data by hand on a weekly basis, allowing for greater throughput, and making it easier to identify potential order demand changes.
Foxwoods Casino
The world’s largest casino and the premier destination resort in Southeastern Connecticut
- Programmed and troubleshooted the Time and Attendance Scheduling System (TASC). Developed, maintained and tested the Vastech Interface program between TASC and Vastech (a casino employee scheduling system). Eliminated problems involving record locking and performance.
- Redesigned the reporting front end to improve performance and useability in the TASC graphical application.
- Created the early-out identification batch program that identifies employees that leave too early, saving the casino $100,000/year.
Health Informatics, Inc.
A national provider of health care information solutions
- Designed and programmed the Time Version 7, Patient Billing and Clinical Care System for hospitals specializing in kidney dialysis. Helped rewrite the application in Progress SMARTObjects in ADM2 from another development environment.
- Performed significant programming tasks in Patient Selection, TimeV7 Menu, Physician Security, User Preferences and Patient Image Display and Maintenance.
- Incorporated phone number, email, tax identification, social security number and zip code validation at the framework base SMARTObject level.

- Designed and programmed modifications to the CreditRevue Consumer Mortgage Application. Did significant modifications to track loan application history, loan station routing, track title, flood and appraisal fees.
CAMCAR Division, Textron Fastening Systems
World’s largest fastener manufacturer
- Designed, programmed and implemented a Fastener Quality Act (FQA) Inspection System using Progress’s SMARTObjects. Converted over 5 million records from an existing system.
American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS)
- Created an on-line credit card authorization interface using Progress AppServer to their existing Trade Show Exhibit Application.
